Yes, secondary behaviors are common. I’m in my 30s and have cycled through many types. I still tilt my head, close my eyes, or even move my leg a certain way. It’s a constant aspect of control and relaxation to ease out of those movements. I’ve been successful in stopping new ones from developing, and minimizing the ones I mentioned. Keep up with the speech therapist and efforts.
