Just a quick word of advice: Don't believe it if the book tells you that we know exactly what stuttering is. Because we don't. It's still being researched. There are many theories and approaches, though, and perhaps some of them will work to some extent for some of us. But we need to be careful when we're sharing information about stuttering, just so people don't get the wrong impression.
