Sometimes it's ok to me, but sometimes it's annoying. Some days I'm just going with my day talking with people not thinking about my stutter or thinking "I'm really fluent today, great!" and some taxi driver or shop assistant starts asking "How long have you had a stutter?" Aaaaand I'm instantly bummed because I thought I was fluent talking to you, thanks for reminding me of my flaws, dude. It becomes worse if they start to ask "Have you tried singing a lot? Have you tried this remedy or that?" I just want to say "fuck you, what makes you think I know less about my lifetime problem than you, are you a fucking speech pathologist or something?", but I have to smile and say something polite :(
