I’m happy to see everyone’s intake on working at a call center as well as everyone experiences. For reference, I would classify my stutter as mild. I do not have a very severe stutter. Now I’m not saying people with a severe stutter can’t work at a call center because we can do anything we put our minds to. I thought maybe because I have a mild stutter, I could swing it. But talking over the phones almost exacerbates my stutter due to constant nerves. And I’m thinking the only way to improve my stutter is for me to constantly talk and step outside of my comfort zone. And also I want to work from home which is a plus for me.
