Unfortunately, not. My centre closed down shortly after this. I now work in retail, and it hasn't really improved my stutter, but it does feel better not having to speak for every second of my shift. There are still flare-ups, of course, just not to the same magnitude. In saying that, I do miss my job at the call centre, I felt like I was achieving more there and actually helping people. Despite the stutter, I was somewhat comfortable. Towards the end, my stutter got so much worse, and I did tear up a few times, but I'm not an emotional person, so I held it back. It was a tough few weeks during the end. During my time at the call centre, it was relatively easy to book time off. When I was going through a rough period, I would book a few days or a week off and hope that would help. It rarely did. I'm sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
