Are you alone? Who suffers from stuttering? You are not the only one on this planet who suffers from this problem. *Did you know that 1% of humans suffer from stuttering? It means that for every 100 people, there is one stutterer.* *Did you know that the prophet of god Moses was a stutterer? According to Islamic belief, Moses Peace be upon him was a stutterer and this was mentioned in the Holy Quran when almighty god commanded Moses to convey the message of monotheism to Pharaoh in* ***Surah 26 Ash-Shu'ara, Ayat 12-13:*** ***\*Moses said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar, My breast is constricted and my tongue is not fluent, so endow Messengership on Aaron.\**** ***Surah 20 Taha, Ayat 25-36:*** ***\*Moses prayed, “My Lord! Uplift my heart for me, and make my task easy, and remove the impediment from my tongue; so people may understand my speech and grant me a helper from my family,Aaron, my brother. Strengthen me through him and let him share my task, so that we may glorify You much and remember You much, for truly You have ˹always˺ been overseeing us.”*** ***Allah responded, “All that you requested has been granted, O Moses!\**** *What is meant by telling you all this, dear stutterer, is that the Prophet of God Almighty, despite his stuttering, was entrusted by God with the message, and stuttering was not an obstacle to not going to Pharaoh, one of the biggest tyrants in human history, to speak with him, argue with him, and challenge him.* *So who are we to not be satisfied with God’s will and destiny? And not go out to study, work, talk to ordinary people, and practice our normal lives?* Of all people, God chose you to stutter. This life is just a test, for God to test us on our patience. And remember, God gives the toughest wars to the strongest warriors.
