I'm gay dude who stutters. Not really sure how to really answer the question however. I have a mild stutter so I don't think it really interferes too much with dating (if that's why you're asking?) My boyfriend accepts my stuttering and tells me it's not bad at all and I love him for that (amongst other reasons). Before this long term relationship I'm in now, I never had anyone else say anything good or bad about my stuttering. This includes guys I've dated or one night stands. And to all the other people in this thread asking why it matters that OP is asking about the LGBT stuttering experience, maybe this thread isn't for you. OP asked a specific question that only applies to a specific subsection of people. I know as a gay person and as a stutterer, I would love to get insight about particular topics from people with the same experiences. Maybe just knowing that there's someone out there in the same boat gives a person some level of comfort. And much like other posts on Reddit, if I don't have anything to add, I won't post anything at all.
