M30 here.. Stuttering since I was about 8 years old. Sorry to break it to you but it doesn't go away man.. School was hell.. Reading aloud, introducing yourself, even the morning attendance where we were supposed to just say a simple "present ma'am" was terrifying for me. Imagine dreading every morning, every class.. Destroys your self-confidence man.. now its just that I have started speaking less, you get better at substituting words. But stuff which is really specific like saying out a mobile number or ordering a specific dish at the restaurant, you can't substitute that man. I always get my wife to order whenever we go out. She understands but it is embarrassing for me.. So yeah it may get manageable but never goes away entirely..
