Age 7 is a little old for normal disfluency. Especially if there’s any struggle behaviors, sound or word avoidances, frustration with speech, or tics/clicks/blinks it would be smart to get to an SLP. Stuttering is inconsistent and variable. When in doubt get it checked out. If indeed stuttering now is an important time for intervention.
