Hello I can personally add to your stutter situation. I stutter as a child, I must say that I am quite surprised that your stuttering begins in your teens. Whenever I sing my stuttering don’t affect me at all, however talking on the phone, or any speaking situation I too feel my heart pounding in my body, it’s nerve recking. I am currently seeing a speech coach. Stuttering can be reversed. I have seen so many people who has shared their testimonies on their journey with stammering. I strongly believe that major changes and situations can cause stammering. I am quite puzzled on the age your stuttering begins. Did something happen within your life as a teenager that could possibly contribute to your speech situation? I am currently enrolled in online school, this is another major situation for me. Last week I had a presentation that went terribly wrong. It was my time to present my project, and I couldn’t get the first word out, I was totally embarrassed, my classmates encouraged me to continue, but I couldn’t go any further, another student in my class had a presentation, she also stutter, but she managed to give her presentation. What I want to tell you is, don’t let your speaking situation cripple you, look up Speach couches in your area, but read the reviews first. Please look up my speech coach his name is Michael Williams. Just type in speech couch in (Google) Listen to his instructions on how to tackle stammering problems. I am gonna fight this with all my being, I need to feel comfortable to say what I want to say comfortable and freely. Not being able to say what you want in any situations is nerve racking. I am a mother of two sons, and I am super happy that neither of them suffer from this impediment. Stammering can be reversed with daily practices and self affirmation. Keep courage!
