Stuttering on the short ‘i’ sound and a question regarding phrase stuttering: As far as I know it’s quite common to stutter on the letter p, w, r, and L but does anyone else stutter on words that specifically start with the short ‘i’ sound? Word examples: “it, ill, ice cream, I” I understand that s sounds are hard because of the transition between the sound to another is more complex but does anyone know why short i words (shoot, even saying i as in “I want”) can be difficult to say? Often times I get stuck in a loop of phrase stuttering when I start sentences with I. “I would- I would- I would-“ “I’d like- I’d like- I’d like-“ “I want- I want- I want-“ It’s always like that. What causes phrase stuttering anyway?
