The first name of my company is “Grey” and when I answer the phone I have to say “Grey ..... this is ....” and I could NEVER say Grey and it was killing me. Customers were like hello? Cause I would block so bad. What I am doing now and it’s worked like a charm is breath all the way out and when you answer the phone take a big deep breath with your stomach and start talking. It’s been a life saver and most likely a job saver. Good luck we’re all in this fight together! Edit: this was awfully vague. When the phone rings I breathe all the way out and then when I pick up the phone I take a big deep breath and start talking. Us stutterers don’t remember that we need air to speak fluently but this has helped 😜
