I speak fluently when on Ketamine..can science help us! Hello. I have been stuttering since I was a little kid. I am a grown man now. I also do the recreational drug ketamine. When I am high on ketamine I don't stutter. Unlike other drugs such as cocaine and MDMA, ketamine lowers my anxiety to a level where I can actually feel the freedom of saying whatever word I want to say without worrying about it getting blocked. I am definitely not advocating anyone to take ketamine, please don't, it is a dangerous drug that can hurt your bladder and kidneys. But if it can help me speak fluently, can it also lead scientists to create a drug that could at least limit stuttering?
