I felt like garbage like other stutters do, but I managed. My first job (while in high school) I didn't have speak much, I was shelving books. I mostly had to talk to people who wanted to know where books were. Instead of focusing on my speech impediment I just focused on helping people find the books they wanted. You can do the same thing for any job. My next high school job I had to do all of the math in my head for delivering goods. So I just focused on that instead of my stutter and became good at the other aspects of the job. Both of those jobs I got by people I knew who were willing to vouch for me.
