I started bjj at the start of the year and have been on and off. Currently not going just because I’m working more over the summer. After my first class, I felt so confident. It was incredible. Now that I haven’t been going, I’ve seen myself getting lazy and not as happy as I was. I’ve cut out the whole ‘I’ve got a stutter, I’m doomed’ mindset because it doesn’t help yourself or anyone around you. I’ll learned to let things slide, not get bogged down with bad experiences, and just get on with life. It’s worked wonders. It’s nice seeing a constructive post on here for once!
