Word substitution, avoidances etc..people can be adept at giving an impression of fluency but can come at great internal cost…..My stammer is interiorised or covert. As such, it’s a very hidden difficulty, one that is not readily visible but very real for me…I wonder does Joe Biden describe his stammer is interiorised as he experiences it.
