I'm in the same boat as you, I'm 21 and have stuttered for as long as I can remember. I'm interning right now and find it so hard to speak to people I don't know and that's really limiting the connections I could be making. Honestly everyday I just speak to the people I've been introduced to who know me and no one else. It's honestly really awkward for me too. However I've realised that I can't live like this and enjoy myself, and have decided to go to therapy for a bit to figure out why I'm finding it so hard and getting so many blocks. It's hard to explain how hard it is to speak to someone new to a non stutterer, which is why normal therapy didn't work for me. I think speech therapy is the only way out currently
