You said it right! "Hang up on" is the right phrase for that. And yes, it's very annoying. My own mother has hung up on me before because she thought the call dropped 😭 It's even more frustrating because occasionally when work is slow, my boss will try to find something for me to do, and like 30% of the time they suggest putting me on the phones. I'm like, yeah... No. Not a great idea 🤣
