I work as an IT Help desk agent and I never saw myself doing something like this when I was in high school. I always said to myself that I'll rather have a job at a factory just doing physical labor behind the scenes. Funny enough, my first job out of college was at a factory doing physical labor behind the scenes. I HATED IT! I knew this is definitely not what I wanted and actually met someone there who stuttered even worse than me, but he was so outgoing and just didn't seem to care much that he stuttered. I finally decided to put my degree to use and was applying for tech jobs non-stop. Now, I answer phones all day and some days are hard and some are better, but I just have to keep going. No point in letting my stutter dictate my life anymore.
