I battled with a stutter starting in 2020. In late 2022 I started taking an antipsychotic, since my stutter (and most) are due to too much dopamine and serotonin in your brain. It helps to regulate those receptors. The one I was taking was making me gain lots of weight by ruining my metabolism though. So I’m now going to switch from zyprexa, to geodon. Geodon doesn’t effect weight or metabolism. I’m a bodybuilder so being fatter has been hard for me (I’m 20% body fat but used to being 8%). So now I’m going to switch. But the antipsychotics have cured my stutter 98%. I’ve never been happier. My confidence is back. These drugs aren’t perfect but for me it’s worth it as long as the weight doesn’t go up (which it won’t on geodon). Look into trying it for a month or 2 and see how it works for you
