I teach world history, and I have a stutter. There are many times where I can't substitute a word, because I specifically need to use that word, so I'll just have to take a deep breath and ease it out. I tell my kids on day one that I have a stutter, and what they can expect. I tell them my expectations, especially when I get stuck. There are many days where I wish I had an easy job pushing carts or something, but I'm glad I have stuck with it this far. I've never mentioned my stutter to any interviewers besides in the context of a difficulty I've overcome. You have a lot to offer, and your stutter wont keep you from doing that. You may mean more to children who have similar issues. I've got kids that have minor disabilities, and I think they appreciate seeing a stutterer succeed.
