I’m lawyer with a severe stutter. I stutter at every hearing, every deposition. I still get paid and have good relationships with clients and some judges/opposing counsel. It’s rough, especially at first, but people understand and you slowly begin to develop some confidence that otherwise wouldn’t have been possible if you stayed in your comfort zone. Life begins where that comfort zone ends.
