Work Persona vs Actual You I used to work in the post office and a newsagents shop where I’d be talking to customers all day. I found it strange how I could switch on this confident persona during work but couldn’t do the same out of work. Last night I was locking up the place I work at now and the cleaner was sitting in his car about to come in. I made a bit of small talk and I stuttered but I felt like I was being more confident than usual. Does anyone else experience this?
