Anyone else also never really had friends their own age when growing up? As a teenager (17 years old), I almost never had friends my own age, all of them are basically older or younger. At this age, a few years can make a lot of difference, so when we are older, a few years will be within our age range. I am 17 now, a good friend is 12 and another one is 34. People keep telling me to find people my own age but people my age tend to mock me over my stutter/think it’s strange. Anyone else also never really had friends their own age due to this?
