There's absolutely nothing to worry about. They ask a couple of simple questions, and once they see you have a stutter, they give you all the time you need to answer. My experience has always been that they're nice and professional people who treat you with respect. I don't know about the app, but you'll be asked to fill out a form during your flight. Perhaps the information can also be given using an app nowadays?
