Stuttering at start of sentences, especially around new people. I stuttered when I was a kid and it kinda comes back every now and then but seems to be back with a vengeance now that I’m getting a bit older. It can be especially bad when I’m travelling for work, meeting new people and answering where I’m from and what other companies/projects I’ve worked on. It keeps me silent a lot of the time when I’m out with work colleagues, also. What’s the deal with these odd triggers? Does being uncomfortable with new people make it worse? I only have trouble with the start of sentences, once I’m rolling I’m just fine. Any tips from ya’ll? Thanks!
