When their Chinese mother took them to Beijing to visit her parents, my cousins, who were little at the time, like 7 and 10, were absolutely accosted in the street because they looked "funny." I mean, to the point where the kids were crying and, especially the younger one, didn't want to go outside. So, yeah, can hardly imagine growing up with a stutter there... I think it'd be great to get in touch with this woman.
