Yeah, I think we agree there too. My last sentence comes from my perspective, having my first speech therapist at around 26 years old. At that point I only had psychotherapy, and although it helped a lot, the turning point only came with speech therapy, where I finally saw the "other side of the coin". I got some techniques too, but the speech therapy also targeted a lot of behavioral stuff too. So for me speech therapy is part techniques part behavioral stuff. Nevertheless, for me personally, if I hadn't found my speech therapist (partly to flip the switch) stuttering itself would still be my primary issue. If you've a child you can raise from the start with the right mindset, yes then I think you're right.
