Perhaps it's the definitive nature of your phrasing that is giving people the wrong impression. I do agree with you that many things are possible, even with a severe stutter, including friendship and romance. But your comment did give me the impression that you were saying *nothing* is affected. Although I see now that isn't actually your stance, as you agree some things being an air traffic controller are out of limits for a severe stutter.
