Hello, what a surprise i also started reading this book just recently and i also dont get most of the crutches and the thing he is talking about, i mean its possible and i am not saying that his methods will not work they can definately improve i am halfway there through the book, so i am still reading, but this book is definately good and with full of insight about stuttering, What i would also suggest you is to read another book in stuttering it's called Refining Stuttering by john c harrison,i am aisi reading this book and this book takes a different approach in stuttering and it explains about everything that happens and what leads to having stutter and different ways we can deal and be fluent, this book is also amazing and is full with knowledge about stuttering, please also read this book i highly recommend
