I saw a similar post some time not long ago. My answer was yes but practice alone. Most PWS do not block when reading out loud and alone. Without further explanation, I read on a book that it helps because you are listening to yourself being fluent. That can create new neurological pathways, boost your confidence and create the realization that you do not have a speaking mechanism problem. In fact you can talk perfectly fluent in some context. You have a problem when other person enters the room and with the experience of communicating with someone. Steve harvey, an ex-stutterer, recommend to talk in front of the mirror outloud whenever you get a chance. Hear yourself fluent.
