We are 1% of the world’s population and meeting another one of us is rare. It’s hard to make friends if we cannot speak not that we’re afraid to but our brain stops us from doing so, people give icks, annoyance or impatience towards our disability and meeting those who treat stutterers with respect/understand isn’t that common either.
