I can't really comment on you liking your major or not. Do watch the movie "The King's Speech" if you haven't. It's related to a political leader who was a stutterer. All I'm gonna say that, move on. Accept that you have a stutter and it will remain forever. Start living life like a normal person would do. You will find people who do make fun of you and also, who won't and respect you. If required, do tell the class or professors that you stutter, beforehand, it really makes a huge difference and people respect you even more (personal experience).
