You are…missing the point… Many people who stutter *cannot communicate at all* in any meaningful way. I’ve laid in a hospital bed before for over an hour trying to ask for help, unable to speak when the nurse was walking past my bed. I absolutely needed a way to be able to get words to come out of my mouth. I almost urinated on myself. I’ve written about the differences extensively here already, but needed to respond directly in brief so others in my situation do not feel hopeless…
