Mine seem to be bursts of anxiety that pretty much lock up trying to say anything. I’m prescribed Valium which lasts about two weeks and is the only reprieve I’ve ever experienced in a life long of stuttering. I don’t know if that’s common or not, it’s just a surge of energy that almost paralyzes me and I can’t get a word out. It’s made finding a job almost impossible.
