Hey! I’m sorry the ecopipam didn’t work, there’s so much hope for people with stutters and other related disorders. I took 500mg of vitamin B1 Hydrochloride and it worked for 2 days so probably placebo, I included magnesium too to increase absorption but it didn’t last more than 2 days. The other thing I tried was mugwort tea, worked for one night so again probably placebo. The only time I don’t remember stuttering was when I was on amitriptyline for 3 years from 9 years old for chronic headaches. When our bodies think that a supplement or drug works and it ends up being a placebo effect, I find it odd because deep down we are capable of fluency but we felt the need for medication to achieve it. I’m trying to find out how I replicate it without meds or supplements. First I’m trying to fix my horrific sleeping pattern and quit caffeine so my brain slows down a bit. Speech therapy for 10 years didn’t help me one bit. Everyone’s experience is different, though.
