Little_Acanthaceae87 I read your post and found it very interesting, but I don’t understand something. To overcome blockages, did you still persist in producing the sound even if you couldn’t, by forcing it? Personally, I have been stuttering since I was a child, I’m 22 now, and I don’t think my stuttering is severe, but in certain situations, I stutter a bit more (blockages, repetitions). These situations are influenced by negative anticipation’s thoughs created by past stuttering experiences or by a lack of confidence. So, I believe my stuttering is psychological rather than anything else. I’ve been trying for a few months now to really understand the causes and solutions to overcome stuttering, and this has led me to use several methods… the ones I’m trying right now are: acceptance of stuttering (to avoid being afraid of others’ judgment) and EMDR. I would appreciate it if you could share your opinion or advice on how to overcome this. Thank you again for the work you do, you’ve helped many people !!
