If your in school, this is something that has happened to EVERY stutterer. Teacher: *says question* Stutterer: *says correct answer without stuttering* Teacher: "Sorry, can you repeat that?" Stutterer's Brain: *Dammit* Stutterer: "Y-y-yeah I w-w-was s-saying...." And then it gets awkward. Normally I stop and say never mind right after he says "Can you repeat that?" Wow, do those m's, I's, and w's get me
