Man I hear you. I’m 27 and have been stuttering as long as I can remember. I remember as a kid I was so worried about finding a career. So scared no one would take me serious. I found a job as a dishwasher when I was a young teen and worked really hard. I am now the Executive Chef of a very large restaurant in a big city. There are challenges daily- mostly with myself. I had to stop trying to not stutter and just speak freely. No matter how rough it comes out. Do this and you will be taken back on how people take you seriously and really listen to you. Maybe the goal isn’t avoiding stuttering but just speaking the way you speak. Good luck man and stay out of your head about it.
