Nothing to blame yourself over. It’s not your fault. I know a lot of us feel very negatively about our stutters, but there’s really so many other things that can be much much worse. Your nephew can very well lead a very happy and productive life with a stutter. It’s not a death sentence. I’m sure his mother already knows or has noticed his speech patterns and is aware that speech therapy may help.
