Datings fun, it's cool to meet people and bounce off of them. I wouldn't worry about being 18 and single though. Dating honestly sucked for me until I was a bit older. Stuttering can suck but a bigger impediment was just my being sad or angry about where I was in life. I had unrealistic expectations of what I was supposed to have accomplished right out of highschool. I was miserable and miserable to be around. Once I had a bit of therapy and perspective I was able to make friends and partners way more easily. Years later I found that was the case for the majority of people around me in some way or another too.
