I've become fluent in Spanish, and have a very a limited fluency in Italian. While I;ve developed lots of mechanisms to my stutter in English, they don't work as well in Spanish or Italian (or when I'm drunk), so it's frustrating. The only thing that's helped me is I'm fearless and don't have much social shame, so I endure the awkwardness, but I envy people without any stutter.
