Sounds like we have the exact same type of stutter, but I would describe mine as severe haha. Yeah they allowed me to type it, when the recruiter called me I told her I have a stutter so the answers to her questions would be slow, first interview was online and I started blocking super hard on the first sentence, then I just asked them if it was okay for me to type it out if I really couldn't get my words out. Then a couple days later they told me I got through to the 2nd interview which was in person, and they said that if I wanted to I could bring a laptop to type, which worked out great I guess cause I got the job.
