Why is my stuttering extreme when talking in English but I don't stutter at all in my native language? What can I do to manage my stuttering in English?

Why is my stuttering extreme when talking in English but I don't stutter at all in my native language? What can I do to manage my stuttering in English? I live in Bangladesh and my native language is Bengali. English is my second language. I can write decently in English I believe, but my spoken English is horrible. Its horrible mostly because of my stuttering. I rarely stutter in Bengali, tripping on 2-3 words or having just 2-3 words blocks. But in English the stuttering is absolutely severe. My question is, why is that? Most importantly, what can I do to get rid of the stuttering in English?
