Thank you for the kind words. I am fortunate I’m able to get out and do stuff but even with these hobbies, I’m at the point where doing them alone is becoming more and more hazardous and it’s difficult to find a ski partner, for example, who’s willing to ski with someone who’s borderline mute. My inability to communicate verbally could be a serious issue in a dangerous situation so I’m even less likely to find a partner. I hope I can learn to accept it. I’m in therapy of course but it’s just so challenging to accept that this is forever. I’m not against relationships that begin online, but I want people that I can hang out with in-person rather than just a pen pal. Totally at a loss with that.
