I really wish something like this was pinned. It’s painful to see so many people go through life without the support they deserve. IEPs and 504s were the only things that got me and my sister through school. It stopped teachers for failing me for being unable to speak. It stopped teachers from verbally abusing me in front of everything for stuttering. It stopped them from claiming I’m “just trying to skip school work.”
