I sometimes get fellow stutterers calling in to the call centre I work at. My stuttering mostly comes in the forms of facial ticks and occasional hangs on certain words at random. I normally don't even mention it. But once I had a younger guy call in, and he was really struggling. At the end he stammered though an apology and I told him there's nothing to be sorry about, told him a little bit about myself and have a 3 minutes conversation with him, no stutters from either of us. Sometimes it just takes little common ground to really put people at ease. Always nice to know we're out there and we're not alone.
