Pretty much. In a nutshell I think of it like this: I’ve heard regular people around the age of 35-40 state that they used to be a negative/hateful person but now they’ve turned their life around. They think positively, appreciating what they have, try to always stick to a positive mental image. We, as stutterers, can do the same with stuttering. I used to think about negative stuttering like 90% of my day. I now replace those negative, perpetual stutter thoughts with positive ones about my fluency, my love for speaking, my life for my own name, and generally making a positive day. I don’t want to give 90% of my life to my piece of shit stutter habit
