I completely agree. No one can realize the pain we're facing until they step into our shoes. I've been criticized negatively that I need to see for roles and designations that are not requiring more of speaking. So it was ultimately tagging me as incapable of handling a task just bcoz I couldn't speak up. Non- stutterers do not focus on speech. Its an involuntary action for them. Mind, thought and words are moving in synchronized manner. But for people like you and me, we do not have that sync. Our mind is faster than our speech. The demotivation tagged to us by the society is making it register in our subconscious mind. I hope everyone of us are speaking successfully sometime in future.
