Chiropractic neurologists deal with how muscle and bone changes (results from accidents, injuries, other conditions) effect the brain and it's ability to control functions like movement, or speech in my case. My first appointments (lets call this phase 1) were with the chiropractic neurologist - she works with muscle and bone issues on a mechanical level. I haven't met with the speech pathologist face to face yet to begin phase 2 though I'm assuming she will get into the more emotional and psychological part of rebuilding my speech whereas the chiropractor is strictly dealing with correcting anatomy.
